Clay County Soil and Water
On January 15, 2016 the Clay Soil and Water Conservation District held to tree planting ceremonies to honor Arbor Day . The 2 schools receiving the trees were W.E. Cherry and Orange Park Middle School.
The Clay Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting the AREA II meeting on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Clay County UF/IFAS Extension T. Jesse Goldbold, Auditorium 2463 State Road 16 W, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043.
Registration will be from 09:00 a.m. till 09:25 a.m.
The cost will be $15.00 per person which will include lunch.
We are asking if that each district to contribute $30.00 toward to go toward the awards of the Speech and Poster contests.
On 28 August, 2016 the Clay Soil and Water District will be held a special meeting at 0900 to discuss options on moving forward with the flood issues and water conservation efforts.
On Friday, August 15, at 10:00 AM the Clay Soil and Water District held A Chemours and surrounding area Storm Water Runoff work group meeting.
The main focus of this meeting was to provide introductions of all the governmental and local officials and to establish working agenda for future meetings and discussions.
